Artist History Nassib Nassar was born in North Carolina in 1972. He was self taught but influenced musically by his father, who had been a student of Zvart Sarkissian. At age 16 he began formal lessons for three years with Francis Whang at the University of North Carolina. He coached briefly with the Neuhaus pupil Margarita Fyodorova. Nassar currently lives in Durham, North Carolina.
