Artist History
Jewell's been performing and writing songs since the 60s and is still going strong today. She started playing piano at a very young age, and playing out in public as well. She began winning piano competitions as a child, then moved on to getting down the styles of The Dorsey Brothers, and other Big Band Tunes, such as "Eight To The Bar". She's toured on many occasions, and released several well selling singles since the late 60s, which included"Singing In The Wind" & a great cover of "Ode To Billy Joe". She's been the headlining act at some of the biggest clubs and venues in the country and shared the stage with stars like Carl Perkins & Jerry Lee Lewis. |
