Artist History faded was formed in san francisco in early 1997 by jeremy true and darren thompson. both true and thompson had been in the band ANOMIE before that, and kept many of the same songs.also featuring Marco zermeno on bass, and Molly Petit on vocals they quickly honed their blend of 80s melodic sensibility and 90s textures...the EP "the low side of ok" was released to positive reviews in early 1999, featuring the singles ASCEND and OVER. a favorite on local college radio and gothic/industrial clubs, faded was a staple of the local club scene.by the beginning of 2000, the band had been whittled down to main songwritier/musician jeremy true, who continues the band with his wife christina.currently working on demos for the follow up LP, the band is moving towards the indie rock sound of Creeper Lagoon or Jimmy Eat World, while retaining the Cure and Low influences...
