    Artist History
DAMASCUS ROAD was originally formed in June of 1992. Our group, DAMASCUS ROAD, is comprised of born-again believers, brought together by God, to enjoy the musical abilities He has given us, and to share them with others. Over the past 9 years, we have had the good fortune to take the Gospel, in song, to several states. We have performed in churches, auditoriums, as part of street festivals, bluegrass festivals and organized Gospel music festivals. We are always excited to be able to share the Good News about our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST. The name of our group, DAMASCUS ROAD, is taken from the biblical story of Saul of Tarsus. Saul, a persecutor of Christians, was on the road to the ancient city of Damascus when he met the Lord. After his life-changing experience, he became Paul of Christ, and spent the remainder of his days spreading the Good News. We feel all humans are on this DAMASCUS ROAD. If we have been saved, we?re looking for God?s will for our lives. If we haven?t accepted JESUS as our Savior, we?re still searching as Saul was.

"I love records that open with a bang! HE'S COMING AGAIN is the perfect song to open this delightfully inspirational Bluegrass album. The CD is packed with good songwriting, beautiful voices, heavenly harmonies and superlative picking. I could not find a weak song on the entire record. THREE RUSTY NAILS, OH HOW I LOVE JESUS and SWEET HEAVEN are all top shelf collections. HIGHER GROUND reminds the listener that loving God is a joyous experience. This CD is a Grand Slam!" -Tommy Volinchak, Power Source Magazine, CCMA, Nashville, TN.
