Artist History During the summer of 1998, Dennis Mayer, a local singer from the Fairfax, VA area, originally from Fort Huachuca, AZ found an ad in the local Washington City Paper from a guitarist looking to start a band. Dennis was definitely looking for another band. After contacting the guitarist/songwriter, Cliff Ziarno, about the ad, they decided to try to write the best music possible and from there it gently started forward. After about a year of writing material and meshing styles, they agreed to start looking for musicians to create music that they love and find members who were true believers in Change4a5's sound. The songs were simply to good to let go unheard. Dennis, originally from a huge VA local band called Trip Lizard, had the ability to crush you on stage with his powerful vocals and incredible stage presence. Looking to spread the power of Change4a5's music Throughout the local area and then some, Change4a5 went through multiple musician transitions in the rhythm section and finally incorporated Mark Miller on bass guitar and Don Hinegardener on SKINS. Now the guys are rocking harder and better then ever. They feel they can satisfy any crowd and haven’t had any problems doing such a task.
