Artist description Velkro Kitty is a three piece, alternative rock band. Their music ranges from straight ahead Rock, and Punk inspired thrashings, to Pop with a Joe Jackson feel. Each member brings vastly different tastes to the writing table, which keeps the music fresh and varied.

Artist History Born out of a long string of original rock bands, velkro kitty came into being as a test bed for new songs Jim and Pete had written while attending the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. With drummer Chris Gorczyca, they laid down a few tracks for a demo, and played the new material in rock performance classes. After graduation Jim and Pete moved the project to Colorado, hoping to take advantage of a less saturated music market in the Denver area. Chris, unfortunately broke off from the band, and they began the search for a new drummer. After many auditions , Dave showed up, completing the trio once again.
