Artist History Once upon a time(1988), somewhere in the dark back alleys of Montreal, 4 young lads formed a Punk rock band originally called " the Bathroom Orkestraw ". After putting out their first self titled demo tape (1989), with 13 songs recorded on 16 tracks. 3 years later, for some still mysteriously unknown reason, the band was renamed: Vagabonds In 1993, their second D.I.Y. tape, " From autumn to fall" came out (15 songs, 16 tracks ) and received a great review by Maximum Rock'n'Roll 's critics, and other fanzines across the world. In 1995, they struck back with their full length C.D. "Hit the road", 19 songs for 53 minutes of pure adrenaline fun. The album was produced by Vagabonds with the great help of Felix Potvin, and was distributed by Cargo records. Since then, they've been on the road, everywhere on the East coast; Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec city, Rimouski, and had the honor of playing with wellknown bands like: the Misfits (USA), Marky Ramones(USA), Peter and the test tube babies (UK), Stiff Little Fingers (Ireland), Molodoļ (France),the Hanson brothers (Van.) And garanteed you'll be a fan of them as well. Strongly reminescent of hardcore circa '84-'85 with the occasionnal unapologetic kick at the old-school punk can, Vagabonds may not be breaking a hell of a lot of new ground, but they're sure tearing the turf out of the old sod.
