Guitarist-vocalist Lonnie Fisher has a strong voice that works best on cuts like the crawling king snake moan of "Touch the Twilight" and the jangly rush and push of the oh-so Smiths "Kill Yourself or I Will." Fisher and axeman Robert Dixon like their guitars cranked up to 11 and wail away on the ocean-size roar of "Sick" and the swirling pop of "The Trap." Percussionist Chris Nunez is clearly the group's standout musician -- a monster drummer who pounds and paradiddles his way through each track with drive and confidence that serve as the band's engine.
