Press Reviews
"RULE's CD does just that" was the headline from the review of the first album 'Center of the Universe.' Sherri Shaulis of the Dominion Post newspaper describes RULE as capturing the gripes of several generations in their unique songwriting style in songs such as "Personal Fuel" and "Generation Retro." "They attack and exhault everything from Mountain Dewto marriage, from pot-heads to lovers of cover bands. And while first instinct is to write it off as novelty, it's much more than that. The lyrics strike home for a lot of people, giving the tracksmore of a generational anthem feel than a bubble gum sound." -Sherri Shaulis, Dominion Post (1.28.99) Reviews for the 2nd album, 'Unruly' will be available soon. |
