Press Reviews 11.Pseudo Heroes "Prison of Small Perceptions" (Go-Kart) cd I was lucky enough to get a rough copy of this a while back and I even reviewed it last issue but I decided to review it again because it is now officially out. Pseudo Heroes are an original melodic pop punk trio who write great songs. They have another full length, a split w/ Down By Law, and have appeared on numerous comps but you can't label them because these fucks are not afraid to try something new. This release they tracked down some of punk and grindcore elite to create what I am sure will influence bands for years to come. I mean if you were ever into bands like Napalm Death, Poison Idea, the Accused, Dag Nasty, Death, Pink Lincolns, or Government Issue, then this release is a must fucking have. Plus this offical release has a few more songs then the demo and a cover from Blue Oyster Cult. Fuckin' metal. As a bonus for us locals, they do live punk rock karaoke that has to be witnessed to believed. I have a video with Gen from the Genitortures doing "Six Pack" by Black Flag with them that just blew me away. The most original band in years. 5 beers
