Artist description
"Music is boundless...I have found this." This chorus to a Fathead song appropriately sums up the music of this Philadelphia hip-hop, rock, jazz, jam group. Having played with everyone from George Clinton to the Roots to moe. to Bare Naked Ladies, Fathead is able to transcend the simple constaints of "pop" and "hip-hop" and "reggae" and "funk." They've toured the past two years up and down the east coast and are currently selling out several venues. At present, they are working with Grammy award winner David Ivory to produce their third album, albeit the first "studio" album in the five year history of this seven piece wall of sound. |
