Press Reviews
Capture The Flag : Time and Again. this is one of those discs that you know is going to be great from the first few chords you hear. Loaded with bits, pieces, and bite-size chunks of traditional punk, hardcore and an understated melodic touch from the emo camp, these guys cull the best of each. Songs like "First Year Center", "Playing for Keeps", and "Keep Cracking Wise" just don't come along very often, but when they do, people had damn well better do everything they can to not only get, but also keep their hands on this kind of goodness. Brimming with sincerity in the lyric department and flooding the gates with fast, powerful songs, this Michigan trio has more than just the potential to be counted alongside giants like Hot Water Music and Lifetime. Hands down, one of the best young punk rock bands I've heard in a long long time.-Ernst Spank Fanzine |
