Artist History
Together since 1991, the band, composed of Bob Gourley (formerly of "Bob and the Executioners" and "Rhythm to Noise") and Lila Lieberman (Formerly of "The Bad Stinkies"), has managed to continue making music despite both geographical and temporal disparity. Formed in Boston, XO100 was based in that city until 1994, at which time Gourley and Lieberman went their separate ways. They remained in contact, exchanging song ideas and fragments, until they were finally reunited in Hoboken, NJ in 1996. It was there that they established their "Lackawanna Studios," discovered their sound, and began to record. In 1999, xo100 composed music for model Iman's website, which led a leading David Bowie website to wonder if the track was actually Bowie (her husband) under an alias! |
