Artist History
Scott and Jeremy played guitar together when they were in high school. Travis learned to play the bass in the spring of 1993. In the fall of 1993, Jeremy, Scott and Travis started jamming in the basement of a Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. They made posters for a drummer wanted. Alex came along by the spring of 1994. We knew Tara could sing and she joined up.
We found a practice studio and set up shop. We had some great shows including a 7-4-95 show at Riverfront Park in Spokane where we closed for 20 bands just as the fireworks were going off. Well, by late in 1995, Scott found other priorities and left the band. The core rhythm section was left with each member taking turns at lead.
We played a bunch of shows at the U of I, also Wash. St. Univ. We went to Spokane, WA for recording sessions and occasional gigs. Once in awhile we'd play in Boise, ID.
Looking back, it felt like we were riding the downward slope of an amazing Palouse region music scene which started in 1991 and peaked in 1995. Bands like
Big Time Adam, Royball, Raspberry, Circle of Knots, Leftover Salmon, and The River Project were playing somewhere almost every weekend. The scene has quieted down
a lot now with mostly cover bands getting the crowds. Ah well. Life.

SOULCRAFT - Shaman Song (ACID ROCK, 9.6MB)
Highly-enjoyable bootleg quality live acid jam from a now sadly defunct band from Moscow, Idaho.
Soulcraft come on all prime-era Jefferson Airplane, mostly thanks to some wiry guitars and singer Tara
Hall's take on Grace Slick's "White Rabbit".
It's a real shame that they no longer exist. They sound like they were a pretty exciting live outfit.
