Artist History Originally formed in 1977 as Moon Rise, the band has gone through several changes over the years, but has always maintained its original four members. After being renamed to Ground Control in 1979, we did a lot of local shows and a small tour on the Sunset Strip. Although we have all matured and become regular 'working stiffs', we still have a deep love of music and performing. As old as we get, we will always record our music to be shared with others.
