Artist History
Life without music is a mistake. Mr. Tiger and A.P.S born and raised in Ontario, Canada were brought up in a musical family with many different influences of music. The family brought the music of India, that developed their own distinct style. Both showed a natural talent not only to play indian instruments but also to be able to play any musical instrument presented before them. It was the early 80’s when hip hop was introduced to them. As young teens they began to mold and experiment the fusion of the two genres in a way that was totally original and yet universal. It was important to them to study the growth and direction of hip hop, to find their own place in the industry. In 1994 they released an EP called ‘Unlocked’ which sold over 5000 copies worldwide and introduced the duo to the underground scene. Since their debut they have been developing something to blow away the masses. In the past five years, they have started their own production company and studio ‘Mystic Lab Productions,’ giving them total control on their art. Their upcoming 19-track album “In Disguise” is written, produced, mixed and mastered by A.P.S. and Mr. Tiger. The sound is comparable to no other, introducing the Electric Crooks. |
