Artist History I have been playing guitar for nearly 35 years, over 20 in the Austin area. I have played guitar with some great players- Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson, & Chris Duarte to name just a few. Besides my blues instrumental project, I'm playing with a really cool blues band called "The Wizards"- former members of Jimmie Vaughans' "Storm", Johnny Winters' original drummer, & the bass player from the "13th Floor Elevators"; also some pick-up gigs with "Blues Power".

Group Members Besides myself on guitar, we've got Gary Lippe keyboards, Appa Perry & Danny Galindo on bass, Jay Langford on drums, Brad Andrew on tenor sax, George on congas & tambourine.

Instruments My main guitar on this cd is a custom strat wi vintage strat (neck & middle), & a vintage tele bridge pic-ups ( all lace sensor) wi stock strat trem bar. also used new fender tx mex strat, fender jap tele, '68 les paul custom, solid mahogany schector strat wi seymor d. paf's. amps used: mesa boogie mark iv, '68 stock fender super reverb, & a kendrick wi 12" celestion.

Albums My debut cd, "Michael Hamm", was recorded, mixed & mastered by Gary Greer at Austin Trax, & was produced by Michael Hamm & Gary Greer 11/15/99
