Artist History
Street musician in SF in the late 70's. Played with the legendary Tom Hobson in his band "Ragged but Right" for about 5 years. Was discovered street playing in New Orleans in 1979 and ended up on Frank Wakefield's 1980 release; "Blues Stay Away From Me" When Eric opened for Ray Charles in Modesto, CA 1982, Ray overheard him jamming with his trombone player and proclaimed "Pick that thang!" |
