Artist description
With his new CD FAILURE, Herb Heinz has set out to fail. If he does fail he will succeed at failing, meaning he will not have failed, but if he succeeds, he will also not have failed, having failed at failing. The manifestation of this paradox can be heard on FAILURE—a neurotic journey through the mind of a troubled artist. Combining dark vocal melodies, meandering lyrics, synthesized backdrops, abrupt shifting textures, strange sounds, and psychotic guitar, FAILURE challenges, surprises, and confounds listeners while providing plenty of hooks, just in case. |
