Artist History
Cornerstone was born out of the band Friends & Strangers, an all
occasions musical group. After nearly eight years of performing and a few personnel
changes, Friends & Strangers disbanded in 1992. In late 1994, James, Chet, and Hutch
happened to meet at Timmy O's house. Shortly thereafter, a reunion performance was
scheduled. The sucess of that performance revitalized the group. Some of us had been
writing our own music, so we decided to reunite with a focus on original material. Yet
the band was not complete. We needed a new bass player. After a little searching, we
found Lamar. From the moment he started playing, it was a perfect fit. |
