Artist History The Monster Society started as a quasi-band -- mostly a joke and a acoustic guitar I didn't know how to play -- in 1995. In 1999-2000, The Monster Society reemerged as a faux-rap group. Then, in early 2002, It became an umbrella name for a collection of wannabe house music. Currently, I use the name for the ambient noise I'm occasionaly inspired to make.
