Artist History
Back in ´98 André Czarnobai came home with a CD containing Sounic Foundry´s Sound Forge 4.0. He´s installed the audio editor in a Pentium 166 and started to teach himself and his brother how to use every command in its enormous list. After spending the last 10 years listen to hip-hop, reggae, soul, dub and the rest of the gigantic black music range, the brothers were really excited about some new sound called drum´n´bass. They´ve produced their first track somewhere in May and the started to search the web looking for digital audio softwares. They first tried ReBirth. It was pretty cool, but it isn´t enough. Then, after many late night Altavista searching, they just found Fruity Loops web site and started to get serious about producing. After compose and produce around 50 tracks in 99, they finally send their music over the web at several sites. In the year 2000 they first played live at a local pub called Garagem Hermética. The debut was at a mp3-only party, and the crowd responded pretty good. When they played again in august the house was crowed one more time and the crowd just went nuts. For 2001 there are so many projects: They bought a new computer dedicade exclusively to sound composing and producing, a Pentium III 700Mhz. The Familia da Coisa website will soon be available, some new tracks has been composed and also will be soon available. Plus, a huge d´n´b party is coming next march, so keep those eyes open. |
