    Artist History
Band was first named The Poloponies in 1986 and was eventually changed in 1994. Annie and Andrew began adding their creative inspiration in 1999. The first MP3.com compact disc released in June of 2000, Spiritual Jungles, featured a drum-n-bass feel. The melodic drum-n-bass Mono quickly moved up the charts evntually maxing out at #8 in the symphonic electronica genre. The second release, Embrace the Chaos, features an electronic sound, some jungle and symphonic electronica. .........Before Christmas 2000, the CD entitled, The Starfish's Bite, changed the musical direction of NME Lily slighly with experiments in different instrumentation including real bass and guitars. The best description of this music is a cross of Leftfield, Electronica, World and Power Funk. The songs One Week and Sit By Me have done very well in the Leftfield genre climbing to #5 and #38 respectively. .........Concrete Jungles was completed later in December 2000 and is the direct follow up to Spirtual Jungles with an emphasis on ambient drum n bass. Concrete Jungles will soon be a classic featuring the killer song, The Starfish's Bite, ESP and Surfing Death. ..........In 2001, @Peace was released and is the direct follow up to Embrace the Chaos featuring wacked out symphonic and progressive electronica with a blend of some drum n bass. The songs Force of Weightlessness stood out as the #1 drum n bass song in Pittsburgh. .........Later in early 2001, The Jungles of Jupiter was released featuring a heavy drum n bass sound focusing on deep bass. The song The Singing Rain will be a classic. .........The next album has turned out to be a sensatinal hit. .........ERGONOMIC was meant to be a compilation of uncompleted songs; but the songs @peace, November Mike Echo, Jungles of Jupiter and Al-Kolo-Hol are steadily climbing the charts. .........A Glimpse of Yesterday's shadow features some of the more progressive tracks from NME Lily and includes for the first time my son Luke playing drums on Turbo which is a killer track sounding as if Shania Twain was jamming with NIN. .........Because I am a music composing addict, IDLE WILD FILES was completed before the 4 of July weekend and features a new musician to the line up, Andre Hladio from Hamilton, Ontario in Canada. Andre adds his incredible shredding and songwriting. BIG BEAT VICTIM, A WALKING TUNE, CHAINSAW SURGERY and RELATIVELY SPEAKING are true industrial rock n roll anthems. .........To date NME Lily has collaborated with many wonderful musicians and pays tribute to their inspiration. In the upcoming months look out for a new DnB/electronica album, and older comilations from the early 90's including GLUE and GIRAFFE. NME Lily continues to grow . Thanks for the great support from a growing fan base.
