A four piece hard rock band from Texas that's seen the inside of just about every prison in Mexico. They serve up Hard Bluesy Texas Rock like you've never heard before. Born from the same blood line that gave the world ZZ Top and King's X. These boys rock like a double-wide in a tornado.

    Artist History
Naked Truth is the product of one of the most talented musical families in the history of the state of Texas. Francine Dix, a former "entertainer" at The Chicken Ranch, gave birth to Dino, Skeebo, and Cap'n; three boys who have not let their talent go to waste. The boys believe to this day that their father is none other than Billy Gibbins of ZZ Top. "Daddy was Momma's boyfriend, and one of her best customers for years. We just know we're blood kin. That's why I play so good.", brags Dino, the sexy six-string slinging sibling. The three boys eventually allowed their cousin Roy L. Cantrell to take over on lead vocals. Roy L., a city boy from Houston, was always considered somewhat of a "sissy" by his cousins who were born and bred in LaGrange. But the four of them together pound out songs that are anything but "sissy". The quartet eventually met their fate when they hooked up with legendary manager Chris Audette, a.k.a. "Magellan", "New Hampshire", "Italian Silver-Back", and "Danny". Audette is an imposing figure if a man who is described as Brian Epstein, Peter Grant, Col. Tom Parker, and Tom Vu all rolled into one. Audette brought his new discovery to Dallas and the Dix boys have been happier than a pig on payday every since.
    Group Members
Roy L. Cantrell - Vocals - Houston, TX. The son of a textile importer, Roy L. got his early vocal experience singing for "tupence" down by the docks. His cousins would occasionally let him sing along with their jam sessions, but not without reminding him that he was a "...fancy-pants city boy." By the time he was 15 he was touring and paying dues with such notables as Terrance Pontchartrain, The Yum Yum Boys, The Embers, Cat Scratch Fever (Ted Nugent Tribute Band), The Flickerflames, and Contabulous Fantraption. Road life forged his voice into a leathery instrument of seduction. When he gave his cousin Dino a call and told him he was ready to fullfill his destiny as their vocalist, Dino couldn't help but say, "...I guess." Since that day, Roy L. has enthusiastically passed every audition the boys have held, and is looking forward to continue doing so for a long time.__________Dino Dix - Guitar - The youngest and best looking of the Dix brothers, Dino's vanity is ironically the result of his being born with a five inch tail. His mother refused to allow doctors to remove the appendage, and as a result, Dino always felt he was special. He took up guitar at the age of 6 after he saw "Harem Scarem" on TV. He pointed to the screen and proclaimed, "That's what I want to do with my life. I want one of those!". So Francine ordered him a guitar out of the Sears catalog. But when it arrived she discovered that it wasn't the guitar he had yearned for at all. He thought Elvis had been wearing a dress. Since the guitar was not returnable, young Dino was forced to practice and not waste his mother's hard earned money.___________Skeebo Dix - Bass & Tub - Skeebo Dix doesn't say much. He lets his bass do the talking. This middle child began laying down the grooves for his younger brother at family gatherings. His first bass he made himself from a stick that he whittled from a branch, a wool string that he spun from a sheep that he raised and sheared, and a washtub that he fashioned out of a larger washtub. Skeebo may be quiet, but he is known as the most tempermental of the Dix family. "Momma always said I had a firey temper. That's why I like to play so loud. That, and 'cause I like to drink. Drinkin's good with playin'."___________"Cap'n" Dix - Drums & Hambone - The eldest Dix began calling himself "Cap'n" when he was just four years old. "I wanna be in the Naby.", he used to say as he would pretend to man the helm. His drumming started when he joined marching band in 6th grade figuring that the "Naby" could use a good drummer. Sadly his dreams ran aground when he tried to enlist on his seventeenth birthday. He couldn't pass the eye test and corrective lenses were strictly against his mother's religious beliefs. "God didn't intend on us wearing glass on our face; ain't natural...", she used to say. But the "Naby's" loss was the music world's gain, because that's when he decided to "enlist" in the music business.
