Artist History
Midmandle originally formed under the name "Shell" in Spring of 1997, performing originals from singer Scott Haskitt's self performed/produced solo album "Third Wish". Throughout the end of '97 and '98 Midmandle played around Western PA preparing to record their debut album in the summer of '98. In March 1999 Crowning Blue was released (under the name Shell). Midmandle continued to play around the Pittsburgh area and Western PA in support of the album. In January 2000 the group's name was changed from "Shell" to Midmandle and recorded two songs for a Jeff Buckley Appreciation album to be released in Austraila sometime late 2000. With forty some originals the band is currently gearing up to record another album slated to be released in early 2001... |
