Artist History
Marcos Borelli was born in São Paulo in 1965. He decided to be a musician when he was seven, and started piano lessons with an assistant of Magdalena Tagliaferro, one of the gratest Brazilian piano players. Later he studied Jazz and Brazilian music. Feeling the necessity of a more firm and formal background he studied harmony, musical analisys and composition with professor Osvaldo Lacerda. In 1986 he entered the Santa Marcelina University in São Paulo where he coursed conducting and composition. At this time he started working as pianist, composer, arranger, professor and other activities related to music. Currently he keep working as musician playing mainly Brazilian music and his own compositions in Brazil and Europe. |
