Artist History Lockdown was founded in 1998 by producers Kareem "Wiseguy" Bates and Thomas "Big Keys" Booth. With a unique blend of superior lyrics and top notch, cutting edge production, Lockdown captured the hip-hop generations by the masses. With a grassroots following in the Pa and Ga areas, Lockdown gained a strong fan base through word of mouth, strong street-level sales, and regular rotation in regional nightclubs. Producers Wiseguy and Big Keys are also recording artist as well. Wiseguy is a hip-hop artist and Big Keys is an acclaimed R&B singer/songwriter who has worked with a slew of artists as well as contributed to movie soundtracks. Wiseguy and Jokr are also an acclaimed R&B tandem.
