Artist History
The odyssey of Bill Quateman has been an interesting one. A native of Chicago, he played music of one kind or another around town from the age of 14. In 1972, Quateman was signed by Clive Davis to Columbia Records and the subsequent release of his "Bill Quateman" LP led to critical acclaim and national tours, playing showcase clubs and concerts, building a cult following. The follow up album "Ties That Bind" was never released and, interestingly, boasts some classic performances. Albums from RCA were "Night After Night," "Shot in the Dark," and "Just Like You." |
