Artist History
systematic decline's founding line-up was formed in 1997. they started out their musical careers playing covers under a bunch of names like heresy and drivel. they stuck with drivel for about a while and eventually decided to start writing their own material. at this point the band consisted of ryan o'rourke on bass, sam king on drums and jesse laderoute on lead vocals and guitar. they grew tired of a three man lineup and decided to thicken their sound by enlisting the services of bass player ryan chabot while ryan o'rourke promptly took the duty of playing lead guitar. this lineup was satisfying for a while until jesse started to realize how much fun it is to jump around the stage unobstructed by the weight of a guitar on his back. enter lee robichaud. lee has been playing guitar aside ryan while jesse sticks to singing. after lee's entrance into the band, ryan chabot was replacedby steve morel and sam king was replaced by tj macdonald on drums. with the drastic line-upchange, drivel now became systematic decline. this is how the band is now. enjoy. live long and stuff. |
