Patrick Adams has been Producing Arranging and composing music for over 30 years. At 17 as a member of a self contained group The Sparks Patrick appeared in the Warner Brothersmovie "Up The Down Staircaes". That same yearhe wrote a song "You've Got To Learn Something"which has been on SESAME STREET ever since.In 1970 at age 20, Patrick became A&R Directorof Perception/Today Records in New York. There heProduced BLACK IVORY and dozens of otheracts. 1974 Patrick formed Patrick Adams Productions. He soon was acknowledged to be one of the best String and Brass arrangers in the world. His work appears on hundreds of records including Gladys Knight,The Spinners, Eddie kendricks, Rick James, Ace Spectrum, Ben E King, Candy Staton, Melba Moore and The Main Ingredient. Record World once called him "The Uncrowned King Of Disco." His Supermanalbum by Herbie Mann and Musique's "Push Push In The Bush" are classics. As an engineer he hasworked with Salt N Pepper, Eric B & Rakim Teddy Riley Narada Michael Walden and was Chief Engineer at POWER PLAY STUDIO in NY during itsgolden period.
