Artist History
King Harvest formed within the club circuits of San Francisco and Berkeley Ca. Each one making there own seperate way to the Pacific Coast, the five converged on The Bay Area independently. "It's about being dedicated to music as a way of life" says singer/ guitarist Lee Simpson. "Each of us made our own way here but it is the common thread between us. It's a life that is full of excitement and mystery". With members fom all over the United States, the members of this band have had the opportunity to share stages with bands such as Merle Saunders, Mother Hips, Wilco, The Band, Hot Tuna, Blues Traveler, New Aquarium Rescue Unit and many others. The foundation of King Harvest is the deep roots of American Rock and Roll. The love of the craft and the mystery of songwriting. Mix this all up with the inspiration that only mileage on the American highways can bring and you have one extraordinary band. |
