Press Reviews
"by John Varley... a novel called Millenium... It's a very dark and brooding vision, and if I were to suggest a soundtrack by which to read it, it would be Sleepscapes and Dreamstates. The album is brilliant soundtrack work... bringing to mind a grimy, rusting, mechanical world where water drips on outdated machinery, and things are nowhere near as reliable as you need them to be. Knowing that Sleepscapes and Dreamstates was written independantly of any other work, it stands as a great piece of music for it's own merits. Applying it to one of my favorite novels though, I've been able to find a new appreciation for both..." - rik, of the Violet Collection. http://www.corpusnet.com/rikstuff/Reviews/Reviewindex.htm#hands |
