Artist History Cyber Jack was formed in the middle of 1998. With their first demo tape the band played clubs and radio festivals aroundtheir hometown of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The next step was to record a single CD. In August '98 Cyber Jack released their first single that included the songs "Look Around" and "Second Thoughts". The single received a lot of airplay on brazilian alternative radio stations. The band gave a lot of interviews and made an acoustic performance in a radio station. In their first self-produced professional album, the band travels around industrial rock, punk and old school rock n' roll. With the music from'Reluctant Aliens', the band shows its talent, personality and gives up the impression that a new Sepultura is coming from Brazil. Live, the band has the energy of the new breed of rockers with the good old attitude of the past. Nowdays they are performing a furious version of the Stooge's classic "Search and Destroy" and a funny, techno metal version of EMF's underrated "Unbelieveable" the result is just incredible. The band plans are to bring their music to the United States this year and make a long career. “Look Around” is already a hit on the east coast college radios and has been played in some commercial stations, a nice fact for an unsigned band.
