The CD's uniqueness is the combination of German, French, American, and British rap, underscored by a wide range of beats. This still relatively unknown band has continued success with critiques and fans. We have had our share of on-stage performances and gained respect throughout our community. Artist History Tinitus: Aus den Strassen Muenchens kaempft sich eine hip hop band nach oben :) Vielleicht nicht ganz so... Wir sind vier Musiker (drei zur Zeit active am Ball) aus der naehe Muenchens. J.T.R., Schneider Salomo, und Onkel Benz sind Tinitus. Die Idee fuer unsere Band ist uns bereits 1997 gekommen doch hat es einige Zeit gedauert bis wir zu jetziger Form (mit live band und allem) gelangten. Wir hatten neulich wieder ein Konzert... Das Konzert am letzten Samstag in der Münchner Nacht Galerie war ein voller Erfolg. Das Publikum war außer sich, als die drei Jungs Ihre Show begannen. Mehr als 400 Fans waren extra gekommen um das Spektakel mitzuerleben. Zudem wurden zum ersten mal die neuen Songs "dennis " und "leopatra", mit außergewöhnlicher Resonanz, präsentiert. Die Veranstalter sind vom Andrang überwältigt und planen schon weitere Events mit der HipHop Band tinitus. Nach insgesamt vier Stunden vollen Programms endete die Show. Den drei MCs war es deutlich anzumerken das sich die Anspannungen lösten und Sie zufrieden von der Bühne traten. und einen auftritt im Radio... Am Freitag, den 11.02.2000 war es zum ersten mal soweit. Drei Songs der Hip Hop Band tinitus waren auf Radio Feierwerk 92,4 München zu hören. Im Rahmen eines halbstündigen Live Interviews, sowie einer Kurzen Acapella-Performance, waren die drei MCs nun endlich im Großraum München zu hören. In Zukunft sollen die Lieder von tinitus fester Bestandteil der Musikredaktion von Radio Feierwerk werden.

Group Members Jonny Büttner - Guitar, Drums, BassJonny Büttner is Schneider Salomo Having had the opportunity to have played in numerous other bands, Schneider Salomo is the most versitle band memember.Jakob Haas - Keyboard, Cello, Guitar, DrumsJakob Haas is J.T.R. J.T.R. is one of Tinitus funding members he has the gift to put the bands ideas into reality. He is currently pursuing a career as a sound engineer at Cologne Univeristy.Domenik Effing - Drums, Harddisk Recording, FluteDomenik Effing is Onkelbenz, who crew up jamming to German Hip Hop. Therefore, his ability to organize jams has only recently been surpassed by our manager Monty Metzger (monty@monty.de). Kevin Akpomuje - Flute, Sampling, KeyboardKevin Akpomuje is KevsugoKevsugo is the second funding member of Tinitus. His lyrics and skills in freestyle have brought fame to the band. Currently, he is studying Industrial Psychology at Western Michigan University in the US.

Germany‘s phatest HipHop Jam returned even phater in the new millenium: With Live Acts such as Too Strong, Tinitus, MC Rene, Curse or Torch, who are not only stars in the HipHop scene, but also at the level of mainstream public. Probably everyone has heard of the Reality Rockaz and DJs such as Membrain or double D, graffers such as Daim, Can2 or bomber and Breakdance crews as mansonix. They all were perfroming live in one of the six areas on April 16th on the old air port. With the correct mixture of the five essential hip hop items - Live music, Freestyle, DJing, Breakdance and Graffiti - the Osterjam 2000 drew the unbelievable number of 2900 visitors and exceed last years results by far.
