Artist History
Goujroy was about timing. Goujroy's time was 1995. Goujroy tried to be complex; we tried to have musical discipline in a time when line between soulful and sloppy was becoming increasingly blurred. We wanted to sound different from the bands that sounded like they had formed after their first guitar lesson. We promoted ourselves as the "Alternative to Alternative," and the music you wanted to listen to when "three chords just weren't enough." Goujroy had a good sound, and a great direction. At the wrong time. |
