Artist History
Back in the early summer of "99" three high school kids decided to get together and jam on a few Pearl Jam tunes. So on the afternoon of April 28th......Jarrett Flynn...Dan Hadley......and Corey Deck got together to play. So rather than actually playing a cover song, they wrote their first song together. There was no title to it. The song just had a funky up-beat kind of sound. So they decided, due to the fact that they wrote an original song the first time they ever played together, they would form a band. Though there were only four of them, they continued to write and practice songs. But others were soon to join the band. Within the next few weeks or so, the band got their hands on a bassist named Monkie. At first it was a good time. But as the days went on, they noticed his skill level was not quite up to par. So within two days, Monkie was kicked out of the band. So once again, the band became a trio. But not for long. The group had acquired a keyboard player for their cover of "November Rain" by G 'N' R. After that they boys asked him to be in the band. Not to say that Brian Rade wasn't a genius with the keys. It was just that trying to squeeze a keyboard part into every song, was just too much. So the trio gave him a shot at the vocals for the band. For the record, he was great. Soon after, bassist Jeff Franklin was to join the band. It was a chance meeting on behalf of Dan and Jeff. Dan mentioned that the quartet needed a bass player, and Jeff immediately responded to that call. |
