Artist History
formed in 1988, probably the only existing band from the pathetically short philly original music scene hay day of the 80's & 90's. Surviving several half hearted financial backers, "come and gone" indy labels and young & dumb management/agents Carcass Under Glass still cranks out it's unique brand of power pop, effortlessly winning audiences over with drilling double guitar work, haunting lyrical hooks, the forgotten art of vocal "harmonies",and signature stage antics. 3 early albums recorded in local studios and sold "at live performances only"provide the foundation for C.U.G.'s first indy cd"and it goes like this" a total piece of crap, according to band members and fans, thanks to businessmen/wanna be music producers. It's release is thwarted by legal entanglements and the cd is shelved "thankGOD". C.U.G. returns to the studio this june to record it's latest collection of fan favorites..."Asleep at the wheel", "We dont do DEEP", "Lifewithout conviction" and more. ATTENTION... management and or backers with vision...call us. 610-558-4651 |
