Artist History
Where to begin........where did this love of electronic music come from, pheadra, sonic seasonings even tonto's......that alluring evocative sound,so what better than to go out and buy a synth, get a tape deck, bypass the erase head and get playing. We improvise and experiment all this music, searching for that illusive combination of sounds that creates a mood, evokes a memory or transports you to the edge of the known.....Mantra music would be a good term for the type of music that has evolved over the years, using sounds of nature and mixing them with the sounds of man.The availability of new technology has only extended our capabilities for creation not changed the basic style.
Taking an electronic band on the road in the 80's was a challenge, yet with the help of art councils, youth organisations, alternative venues and many friends we played many times in the south east of england, even creating projected computer generated visuals ....Now we concentrate more on recording, and using mp3.com and it's relatives to bring our music to a wider audiance while allowing us to hear our contemporaries, this has shown us how unique our sound is.
So this is where we are now after many years, still searching for that ever illusive combination of sounds that leads to audio ecstacy, oneness with the sound, and having experienced move on.This life exploring the many pathways, tweeking out that final sound, this is now!

Press Reviews
"dromagal" by acidageOh what goodies are INDEED in store for you synth-heads and ambient drone lovers. I am glad to have discovered -- yet again -- real QUALITY electronic music for you MP3.com mp3/DAM CD fans! If you dig Tangerine Dream in the "good old days" mixed with high-end, ultra-cool ambience of the 21st century . . . then look no further! Highly recommended trip-out Matrix here . . . ommmmmmmm m m m m "memory persists" - Hmmm, mmmm, good! Ooh, this gives me the shivers -- ominous, dark, foreboding, alien, impending doom?, release?, illumination? anihilation? Doorway to another dimension via a sonic "event horizon"? DO NOT TURN THIS UP TOO LOUD or you may . . . == Krautrocknet Radio= "An inspired meeting with Tangerine Dream in 1975 led Adrian Porter & Peter Travers on a mission of making electronic music that firmly puts them within the realms of Pete Namlook, Biosphere, Klaus Schulze, Brian Eno and early Tangerine Dream."
I first met the men of ACIDAGE on planet TR'IPSYNTH and they proffered me a small vial of 3PM aka MP3 to the people of HT'YNSPIRT -- and so I quaffed the purple liquid thusly -- "Sluorp-ish-smack!" -- and then tasted the sound of color, the feel of light, and the warmth of nothingness. ACIDAGE will serve to sever your consciousness quite nicely . . . with mere oscillations of air molecules vs. the sonic-chem-matrices-latticed, aqua-froese-dream priniciple . . . hmmm? |
