    Artist History
Founded in 1995 in Berkeley, California, the Sherwood Consort has performed all over the Bay Area. Acknowledged worldwide for their beautiful voices, they have released two CDs -- BETWEEN MARCH AND APRIL and ROBIN LOVES ME - which have received airplay all over the world. Their work has been honored more than once -- in 1998, by the California Arts Council in the form of a three-year grant, and in 2000 by Just Plain Folks, an online music organization, when ROBIN LOVES ME was nominated for Best Album in the Classical/Opera/Renaissance category. They are presently working on several performances along with a third CD, ONE DAY AS I WENT RIDING.
