Artist description Syjahen is an experiment in sound manipulation, with many tracks containing underlying threads of song structures unlike a true noise project. Syjahen does use some standard sounding instruments such as bass, drums, guitar, and synths. But there is also a lot of use of molested sound samples, sometimes used as textures but also used in place of instruments. The result is at times cold and harsh, and sometimes spacey and almost ambient.
