Artist History 1992 - Substandard Baking Soda starts playing in a small, smelly apartment in Beaverton Oregon. Critics rave.1993 - Band breaks up. Cites lack of perdiem, and difficulty obtaining prozac.1994 - Substandard is back with a new look and feel, jet set and ready to go, they embark on what is to be a famous world tour.1995 - Substandard returns from a whirlwind tour through europe, only to find that their sense of self worth, and keen intuition, has been stolen.1996 - Monkeys attack.1997 - Substandard breaks up again, this time re-forming as "Nyrggh!" -record sales plummet.1998-2000 - Substandard is reborn, and hits it's stride with the runaway hit single: "You've ruined my Christmas!"
