Artist description
Before Darren Robbins began recording under the name "Time Bomb Symphony", he released one solo CD entitled "Darren Robbins Steals Your Girlfriend". It's a puzzling mix of commercial synth pop ("Fire From A Stone") and edgy roots-based rock ("Travel Long My Wandering Heart"). Obviously the result of sessions that originated while Darren was still a member of the band Montserrat and continued some time later, after the band split up. |

Artist History
CD was released in 1988, sold 15,000+ units in the US, UK and Japan. Magazines such as Alternative Press, Musician, Rolling Stone and Illinois Entertainer gave the disc rave reviews as did Ira Robbins (no relation) in the Trouser Press Record Guide, Fourth Edition. Then the train came way, way off the tracks. As this CD is still quite in-demand, but long out-of-print, we felt it'd be cool to make it available online to those who've been trying to track it down. |
