    Artist description
The band [needle] features the two founding members of the band Sri Lanka, Jeffrey Erb and Lee Daniels, as well as former Dollhaus Puppet drummer Joe DeBlasio, and Sean Jacobs on Bass. The music combines hard edged energy and aggression with a danceablity to break down the walls of the "techno - industrial - metal" genre.

    Press Reviews
Industrial Nation:This American duo are practitioners of the electonic/heavy guitar mix that seems to define the 'American sound' of industrial music. While anyone into the Reconstriction scene will probably enjoy this a lot, they generally have a much dancier sound than is usually associated with that label through use of hard, dancey beats and some creative rhythm loops here and there. Also, their guitars cover more than just metal stylings, with hints of rock and even funk (on"Lifeline") popping up now and then.Sonic Boom:I'm not altogether totally sure what my true opinion of Needle really is. On one hand the band has jumped upon the guitar industrial band wagon like so many NIN clones and yet on the other them seem to be able to pull it off amazingly well. The music is absurdly catchy while lacking any solid creative backing or rational forethought, kind of like the majority of the KMFDM albums released this decade. I supposed not all music needs to be brain candy otherwise we'd all be locked at home listening to our music in a closet instead of dancing til we drop at concerts. My one real complaint is that the album is exceedingly short, a total of only thirty-eight minutes. When you create this kind of addictive music and then leave your audience suffocating in pools of their own sweat you deserve to gain a fanbase backlash. This is probably the first time I've actually wanted to hear more of a band whose derivative list is so long that it would exceed the length of this review. I supposed we're all allowed a lapse of creativity at times just long enough to vent excess energy dancing to some really narcotic music. Just get out of my way I think the next track is being played.
