Artist description The Delicious are convinced to be the most mouth-watering indie-powerpop-band. They adore melodies, power, proper lyrics and a production, which is not too good to make the songs clean. Their songs are between love and hate, steak and salad. "A man once asked me: 'John, you're a big boy now and you have to decide either to do it the easy way, or to gamble and play hard'. I surely replied: "You Shindpriaekel! I'm gonna do it the hard way, i'll gamble!!!" and a few seconds later I formed "The Delicious".

Artist History John Semmel and Effe Oberg invented "The Delicious" in spring 1999. They started recording several songs with a 4-track-mixer. They finished their first demo in august 1999, paused during cold and wet german winter and started live-performings with several new members earlier this year.
