Artist History Formed in 1995 by Eric Elmer and Jerry Waggoner under the name Nightshade. Added Matt Pederson and Tom Beyer by early 1996 and soon rechristened themselves The Bridgeburners. The band began performing in Chicago and suburban clubs and bars in 1997, adding an ever-increasing ratio of original music to a stage act featuring cover tunes by The Beatles, Little Feat, The Band, and many others. Though the band has recorded its music from the beginning, they recorded their first full-length CD project in early 2000. It is entitled "Set The Scene" and features 10 original songs.
