Artist History
Formed by composer and trumpet player, Elliott McKinley, the band never existed as a single unit per se but rather as the best players in a rotation based on availabilty at any given time. The "band" existed between 1988 and 1990 in all of its various forms. The main musical and conceptual idea comes from the period of Miles Davis' performances and recordings in the 1970s with jazz fusion. Each player in the "band," however, added their own touch and personal playing styles which made alltogether unique experiences from tune to tune. |
