Since 1996, she has been a principal soloist in the Glory of Christmas at the Crystal Cathedral, singing Mary, Did You Know? and in 1999, she was a principal soloist in the Glory of Easter, playing the role of Mary Magdalene. Easter of 2000 will find Mandie in the role of Mary Magdalene in The Passion Play at Shepherd of the Hills. Mandie is repeatedly invited to sing the National Anthem and/or Canadian Anthem at major sporting venues, including the Arrowhead Pond (Mighty Ducks), Staples Center (Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Lakers), Edison Field (Anaheim Angels), and Dodger Stadium (Los Angeles Dodgers). Mandie is an enthusiastic Artist Associate for World Vision, and via a concert series titled THE HOUSE THAT MUSIC BUILT has embarked upon a major fundraising endeavor to raise $100,000 for Habitat for Humanity. Artist History Mandie was born and raised in Southern California, where she attended private Christian schools and discovered at an early age the joy of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. At the age of eight, she began taking piano lessons and subsequently ventured into voice training. At the youthful age of 14, Mandie truly felt the call to minister through music, and set out to share her gift at churches throughout the San Fernando Valley. These days, Mandie's music ministry takes her to churches and other venues all over the United States. In addition to sharing her love for Christ in person, Mandie is an accomplished songwriter, with several of her songs winning notable awards in the Billboard Song Contest and the John Lennon Songwriting Contests.
