Released their second album "Pelotas" ("Balls") in 1996, produced by Jorge "Chiquis" Amaro and Marc Rodamilans. Were nominated for best new band in 1993. They had a semi-retirement (in 1999 in which two of the members formed the band "Boogie Dick" in Puerto Rico) but are returning in the beginning of this new decade with a new album.Have toured all over Mexico, Southern USA and Puerto Rico. Update 2001. Adrian is studing an MBA degree in Wharton Univeristy, Pennsylvania. Dr. Erotik is teaching english all over Mexico. Luis Estrada works on a record label creating big pop stars and has a radio show. Adrian and Luis are still writing songs and plan to record a new Los Lagartos album for next summer. Other former Lagartos members (lead guitar players...)are: Chucho Roldán works as an industrial engineer who knows where (please say hello Chucho..call us!!). Jarris Margalli finished his work with rock band Jaguares after recording and touring "Bajo el Azul de Tu Misterio" and making himself a little famous. Lalo Plaxx worked several years for Gillette, and after this who knows where he is. Rockier went to the US as a "mojado" and lived there for 2 years. Klaus Warkentin is totally lost, after working for Televisa Radio. Danny Rosa is now father of a beautiful baby-girl. We hope he still plays because he is awesome. Cirilo plays in Puerto Rico with his band "Imagenes Caídas".The three original Lagartos have been very fortunate to have worked with all these great guitar players. There is a serious plan for a reunion in 2004 which will inclued the recording of a new album. This reunion would be with the original members: CHUCHO ROLDAN, ADRIAN RUBIO, LUIS ESTRADA and DR.
