Artist History Duration was first started in about 1997 with 3 guitarists and a bassist. The members back then were: Alex Tong, Arthur Wong, Taylor Canby, & Florence Chan. The band was trying to create some songs and play some cover songs from a HK band named Beyond. Because of the difference in levels and experiences, the band was not able to accomplish anything. Few months later, Florence Chan quit the band because of some emergencies she had to deal with, so the band was left with three guitarists. Later, in 1998, drummer Anthony Hai decided to join the band just for fun, because got no entertainment in Rochester at all, and Taylor Canby switched from guitar to bass. From then, it was how all the miracles were created.
