Group Members Wayne "Animal"Turner: Lead Vocals and Guitar, hit songwriter/ arranger and legendary band leader round out Wayne's musical contributions of Copperhead. Way was discovered and recruited in 1979 in a small bar in Birmingham, Alabama by J.R. Smith (Hank's Manager) and Hank Jr., and has since played on 17 consecutive Hank Jr. Albums. Wayne is a native of Louisville, Ky, and has been playing guitar since the tender young age of nine. His trademark lead guitar ticks set him apart from most front men.
